Tip
Here’s
a tip to help you find the string height that gives your arrows the
best grouping. Start with your string height at the manufacturer’s
lowest recommended setting. Shoot a group of five arrows and record
the pattern with a pen on a separate target of the same size.
Draw
a circle around the group. Now twist the string up five turns and repeat
the process. Draw a circle around the second group. Repeat the process
(keeping track of the number of twists along the way) until you reach
the manufacturer’s recommended maximum brace height.
Somewhere
in that range your grouping will be at it’s best. Then go to that
setting and work both sides of that with two twists at a time until
you have your best grouping. It will take a little time to do this,
but will pay big dividends!
Good
