Additional $15.00 fee for late or walk-in registrations. ***NAA DRESS CODE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES* Waiver Form аа (Parent or Legal Guardian must sign) IN CONSIDERATION of my involvement at this GEORGIA ARCHERY ASSOCIATION EVENT, I acknowledge and agree that: (1) I risk bodily injury, including paralysis, dismemberment, disability and death, and while particular rules of my sport, equipment, personal training and discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of injury does exist, as well as the risk of damage to or loss of property; (2) I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from negligence of the releasees or others; (3) I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual or unnecessary hazard during my presence or participation, I will bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and (4) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, hold harmless and promise not to sue the National Archery Association, its officers and board members, volunteers, officials, agents, sponsors and/or employees, or the Georgia Archery Association, its officers and board members, volunteers, officials, agents, sponsors and/or employees, with respect to any and all injury and loss arising from my participation, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, except that which is the result of gross negligence or wanton misconduct, to the extent permitted by applicable law. GEORGIA ARCHERY ASSOCIATION а 2005 GEORGIA JOAD OPEN & TEAM ROUND Hosted by: Bent Twig JOAD TOURNAMENT INFORMATION SHEET GEORGIA JOAD OPEN The GEORGIA JOAD OPEN is an Olympic Round style tournament of head-to-head competition, open to competitors in the Cub, Cadet, & Junior divisions, residents and guest. It is a separate event, and not required for the Championships. а There are no extra fees and awards will be given for 1 st , 2 nd , & 3 rd place in each division. All competition in the Georgia JOAD Open will be at 50 meters on the 122cm face. Divisions: Female Recurve & Male Recurve, Female Compound & Male Compound Matches will be 12 arrows per match Ц 4 ends of 3 arrows. Ranking for the Georgia Open will be determined by the archerТs FITA score . The Georgia Open will be Sunday following the Awards Ceremony Of the Target Championship. TEAM ROUND Teams are 3 archers (mixed gender okay) of the same bow style Ц recurve or compound. Each team will be given 3 minutes to shoot 9 arrows, 3 arrows per team member, for 3 ends. 27 arrows total per match. All teams will shoot 50 meters at the 122cm face. Team round is a single elimination head-to-head match. All teams will shoot a ranking round of 3 Ц 3 arrow ends per team member, 27 arrows total. Awards will be given for 1 st , 2 nd , & 3 rd place in the recurve and compound divisions. Registration for the team round will be taken Saturday during the Target championships.
